Action follow-through

Keep a defined project phase coordinated through review and handover.

An agreed project phase has owners and workstreams, but schedules, dependencies, issue follow-up and sponsor decisions are not being kept coordinated.
Recognize the situation

Does this match your unfinished work?

We have a plan and people who can execute. We need someone to keep the phase coordinated, expose blockers and bring decisions to the right people.

What is getting in the way

The project has an intended delivery phase and client execution owners, but the working plan, dependency checks, issue escalation and progress reviews need consistent coordination.

What the next step needs to address

The project has an intended delivery phase and client execution owners, but the working plan, dependency checks, issue escalation and progress reviews need consistent coordination.

What needs to be clear enough to proceed

The bounded phase, workstreams and owners; dependencies, decision rights and acceptance criteria; operating cadence, exceptions and next-owner handover.

Only when the phase, sponsor, client execution owners or acceptance conditions are too unclear to define a feasible scope. Start directly when usable plans and decision access exist.

Start directly when the need, usable inputs and decision access fit. We agree only the remaining work.

Questions about this situation

Usable inputs, scope and shared responsibilities. Book a scoping conversation to agree the remaining work.

Will Ignite manage the project or execute the workstreams?
Ignite manages the defined phase: planning, owner follow-up, dependencies, risks and issues, sponsor decision preparation and closeout. Your staffed client owners execute the business and technical work. A whole enterprise PMO or unlimited staffing is outside this scope.
What does the weekly management cadence include?
The proposed eight-week phase includes one 60-minute kickoff, eight 30-minute delivery check-ins, two 45-minute sponsor reviews and one 45-minute closeout. We maintain the integrated plan, logs, decision queue and weekly status, with one update per owner each week.
What happens when a dependency prevents milestone completion?
We check and record the blocker, coordinate the relevant owners and escalate decisions through the agreed sponsor route. Closeout distinguishes an accepted milestone from remaining blockers and names the next owners. A blocked milestone is not reported as delivered.
